Jim is a freelance director, Director of Photography (DoP), camera-op and one-stop-shop filmmaker based near Brighton - working nationally, with over a decade’s experience in the industry, for major brands such as Gucci, Hugo Boss, Disney, Red Bull Racing, BT Sport and Bowers & Wilkins.
He founded Parable Film Co - a video production company and a kit rental service, meaning if required he can often provide much of the kit needed for productions, even when working as freelancer.
Jim often works as part of crew, but having experience as a multi-disciplinary producer, director, DoP, camera op, and editor, it’s not uncommon for him to work a variety of roles, providing a convenient and accomplished solution for personnel and kit.
Owning multiple Canon, Sony and DJI cameras, Jim has also worked with a range of camera systems including ARRI, RED and BlackMagic.
